When you hire a photographer, you want the best. Unfortunately, anyone can claim to be a professional photographer so ensuring that you get the best photographer for the job can be a difficult task. To make it easier for you to find a truly professional photographer, the GCPPA has a very strict membership entry process.

Each potential member is visited by two board members who review their work, their business practices and ask detailed questions about their photography business and personal background.

Each month the Board of Directors review recommendations based on visits by board members to potential members and either approve or disapprove their membership into the organization. If approved by the board, the last step is the potential member being voted on by the general membership.

Not one national or regional professional photographers association goes through this much to insure that it's members are true professionals in every aspect of what they do.
