VI.    Questions

Gulf Coast PPA   Mobile, AL     Monday, June 20, 2016

Learn or review how to pose subjects for studio head shots - corrective posing and lighting techniques to compensate for asymmetrical facial features like crooked noses, flattering lighting for women, the differences in posing women and men, lighting for round faces, thin faces, double chins and more.
High key lighting for websites, post production in Lightroom and Photoshop.
We will photograph a subject during the presentation and edit the image, demonstrating blemish and fine lines removal, cropping for 8x10's and passports, and preparing the image file for delivery to the client.
We will show you how to create your own head shot (self-portrait) in your studio.
You'll see the portable backdrop system, how to set up and adjust your monolights/speedlights, using an umbrella vs. softbox,  how to use a reflector, and more.
These studio techniques are easily adapted to remote location work (like the China Doll Restaurant banquet room).
We will discuss pricing, marketing with Facebook and how you can earn more money now by adding professional head shots to your offering.
And we'll demonstrate the difference between a studio head shot and an Executive Portrait.
